Selon The Seattle Times, Amazon procède en ce moment à une importante vague de licenciements. Un fait plutôt rare dans cette entreprise plutôt connue pour avoir recruté à tour de bras ces dernières années. À Seattle, on compte aujourd’hui 40 000 employés de l’entreprise, contre 5 000 en 2010. Au total, Amazon rassemble 566 000 employés, soit 66 % de plus que l’an dernier.
