La cour d’appel de Paris a jugé le 17 octobre 2014 que Facebook France n’était ni l’éditeur ni l’hébergeur des contenus publiés en France sur Facebook, paralysant ainsi l’action entreprise par une internaute qui avait obtenu en première instance qu’une page fermée abusivement soit rouverte par le réseau social. La justice française impose de diriger l’action contre Facebook Irlande.
